I am a contemporary visual artist whose work examines personal and collective narratives through a lens shaped by cultural identity, memory, and the socio-political landscape. My practice engages with themes such as taboos, religion, relationships, health, and human rights, often drawing from my own lived experiences. Many of my works function as visual journals and intimate reflections that merge inner life with broader societal concerns.
My process combines intricate linework, geometric structures, and repetitive patterning, enriched with color, ink, gold and silver leaf, and handmade environmentally crafted watercolor from nontoxic organic materials such as flowers, leaves, spices, and more. These methods allow me to build complex textures and depth on archival paper, underscoring my interest in materials, their properties, fine details, and the way things are crafted.
I was Raised in Tunisia, North Africa , a meeting point of ancient Eastern traditions and contemporary Western influences . My work embodies this cultural intersection. I draw inspiration from North African, Islamic, and Indigenous Amazigh aesthetics, integrating symbolic language that speaks to personal milestones, memory, and daily life. Through this symbolic layering, I invite viewers to engage interpretively, encouraging multiple readings of the work rather than a single “correct” interpretation. The density of detail in each piece offers new discoveries with every encounter.
During the pandemic, a profound sense of displacement and longing for home led me to develop a series of portraits depicting Amazigh and North African women. Set against arabesque geometric patterns and Arabic calligraphy, these works echo the architecture, colors, and landscapes of my childhood in Tunisia. The series became a creative bridge to my Amazigh heritage, reconnecting me to place, memory, and identity.
I am a 2026 recipient of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship. My work has been exhibited at the Princeton University Art Museum, The Lawrenceville School, The Pennington School, Artworks Trenton, and galleries in New York City and Philadelphia. My work has also been acquired by collectors around the world.

Furniture design project - Created modular interlocking couches that can be stored as a big cube and separated to create a mini leaving room set that can be easily transportable.

-Designed a housing unit with mobile walls to allow the users to customize their own spaces within the unit. The unit and walls are designed to be dismantled and packaged for easy transportation.
