My artwork is contemporary art drawings that reflect my view of life and my sentiments about the current state of our society, socio political issues, taboos, religion, relationships, health, and human rights. It is also a depiction of my past experiences and how they have influenced me. My artwork is also a sort of diary of my everyday life. I like to use a combination of intricate lines, shapes and repetitive patterns that I usually enhance with colors, ink, gold and silver paint and watercolors to create the desired textures and intensity mostly on Arch paper.
I have been interested and attracted to art and drawing since my early childhood. I grew up in Tunisia, North Africa. Tunisia is at a crossroad of eastern and ancient art and cultures on one hand and western
more contemporary art on the other. My art reflects a fusion of east and west with a penchant for North African and Berber art.

All my drawings are full of symbols and meaning that explain my sentiments about milestones in my life, my past experiences and my everyday life. I also try to express my views about current sociopolitical issues, health issues, religions and human rights. But I also try to draw in a way that allows the viewers to interpret the pieces in their own way. The goal of my drawings is to intrigue, engage and provoke thought and reflection from the viewers. The intricate level of detail in each piece allows the viewer to discover more details and make new interpretations each time they view the piece.
I am also an art educator. I taught special needs children in Tunisia, my goal was to make them comfortable and communicate through art.
In the US my teaching is focused on recycling materials. I taught at Greenwood Avenue Farmers Market, Boys and Girls Club in Trenton and Monmouth Museum. I currently teach at Artworks Trenton and Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Mansion,
I also belong to the Artworks Trenton Community Artist Board. I am an active volunteer member at Artworks Trenton and Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie Mansion.
I co-owned a gallery in Lambertville New Jersey with a group of artists for a year. I curated shows and I was responsible for social media activities and advertisements.

Furniture design project - Created modular interlocking couches that can be stored as a big cube and separated to create a mini leaving room set that can be easily transportable.

-Designed a housing unit with mobile walls to allow the users to customize their own spaces within the unit. The unit and walls are designed to be dismantled and packaged for easy transportation.
